Rosin
A natural pine resin (colophony) used as an adhesive and film-former in hydrocolloid patches and medical adhesives. Provides tackiness that helps patches adhere to skin. A well-documented contact allergen — individuals with known colophony sensitivity should avoid products containing rosin.
