sh-Polypeptide-121

A recombinant (biotech-derived) polypeptide modelled on silk growth factors, used in advanced peptide serums to support skin renewal and collagen synthesis.

skin-conditioninganti-agingpeptide
Recombinant polypeptide that mimics growth factors to support skin firmness and renewalHelps improve skin elasticity and plumpness over time
+ Acetyl Hexapeptide-8+ Copper Tripeptide-1+ Niacinamide
Active
sh-Polypeptide-19

A synthetic recombinant analog of human Transforming Growth Factor-α (TGF-α) that promotes keratinocyte renewal and may help smooth expression lines and support post-treatment recovery.

growth-factorregenerativeanti-aging
Boosts keratinocyte generation and migrationMay reduce the appearance of expression lines and wrinklesSupports post-procedure skin recovery
Long-term topical safety data is limitedGrowth factor caution — not recommended near active skin tumors
Active
sh-Polypeptide-7

sh-Polypeptide-7 is a recombinant human polypeptide produced by fermentation in E. coli, consisting of a single-chain synthetic fusion peptide identical to an endogenous human growth factor sequence. EU CosIng lists its functions as skin protecting and anti-seborrheic. Based on patent literature and the growth factor complex context in which it appears (alongside sh-Oligopeptide-1 in other formulas), it is likely related to the KGF/FGF-7 (keratinocyte growth factor) family. Used in multi-factor K-beauty anti-aging cream formulas.

skin-protectingskin-conditioninganti-seborrheicanti-aging
Recombinant human polypeptide produced by E. coli fermentation — likely a keratinocyte growth factor (KGF/FGF-7) family member that supports keratinocyte proliferation and skin renewalSkin-protecting and anti-seborrheic activity in the context of a multi-factor growth factor complex, contributing to overall skin balance and barrier integrityCombined with other sh- peptides (sh-Decapeptide-7, sh-Octapeptide-4, sh-Oligopeptide-9) as part of a Caregen-type growth factor cocktail targeting comprehensive skin rejuvenation
As with all recombinant human growth factors in topical formulations, a theoretical concern exists regarding use by individuals with active skin malignancies; considered safe at cosmetic concentrations for intact healthy skin
+ sh-Decapeptide-7+ sh-Octapeptide-4+ sh-Oligopeptide-9
