Its unique phytochemicals — arenariumosides I–IV (species-specific TNF-alpha inhibitors), isosalipurposide (dominant chalcone), and flavones (apigenin, galangin, kaempferol) — deliver potent anti-inflammatory activity comparable to indomethacin in vivo, antioxidant and UV photoprotection, and documented anti-sebum effects (EU CosIng REF 34242, CAS 85665-35-6). A protected species in some European countries; verify sustainably sourced material.
