An extract from the flowers of Lilium candidum (Madonna lily). Contains flavonoids and phenolic glycosides that provide antioxidant and soothing benefits. Distinct from the Lilium Candidum Bulb Extract which is already in the KB.
Lily Extract in cosmetics is typically derived from the flowers of Lilium species (especially Lilium candidum, the Madonna lily). The extract provides polysaccharides with humectant and soothing properties, flavonoids with mild antioxidant activity, and mucilaginous compounds associated with skin softening. Used in cleansing and conditioning formulas as a gentle botanical active for soothing and skin-brightening.
Lime Extract is derived from the fruit of Citrus aurantifolia (Key lime or Persian lime). It provides vitamin C, limonoids, flavonoids, and organic acids (citric, ascorbic). Used in skincare as an antioxidant and brightening agent. The extract format is far less phototoxic than lime essential oil (which contains bergapten), but the same general caution about citrus photosensitivity applies at higher concentrations.
A stable vegetable oil cold-pressed from the seeds of Limnanthes alba (meadowfoam), composed primarily of unusual C20-22 long-chain fatty acids, used as a lightweight, non-greasy emollient.

An omega-3 essential fatty acid (C18:3, alpha-linolenic acid) that provides anti-inflammatory and barrier-supporting benefits for skin.
